The Princess and the Dragon Facebook Header Tutorial

This is an Exclusive tube at Pics For Design
You can use any tube for this
Kit: Capture the Castle by Pink Paradox
Plugin: Xero Porcelain (optional)
This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP. I used PSPX2
Please be creative and choose whatever you want to make it your own.

Elements = El Copy/Paste = C/P Duplicate = Dup Paper = P Template = Temp
When Re-sizing All Layers should be Unchecked unless otherwise noted

New Raster Image 850 x 315
C/P El 40 Resize 70%
C/P El 122
C/P El 01 Resize 30%
C/P El 123
C/P El 65 Resize 40%
C/P El 126 move behind Castle Dup move right
C/P El 58 Resize 15%
C/P El 27 Resize 30%
C/P El 11 Resize 40%
C/P El 28 Resize 75%
C/P El 93 Resize 85% Dup
C/P El 02 Resize 40%
C/P El 55 Resize 3o%
Add a Drop Shadow to elements
I used these Settings: 2/2/40/2/Black
Repeat on Dragon and Knight
C/P Paper of choice for background
I used two papers
Paper 06 Resize 110%
Paper 01 Move right with seam behind castle tower
C/P Tube Resize 50%
Add a Drop Shadow
I used these Settings: 2/2/40/2/Black Repeat
I added Xero Porcelain effect to the Tube, Horse and Dragon (optional)
Effects Plugins Xero Porcelain
Settings: Default settings Except change Blue to 0 and Saturation to 26
New Raster layer
Selections Select All
Select two color from the elements
I used Background #8d8143 Foreground #c2c19f
Make a Foreground/Background gradient
Settings: Style Linear Angle 0 Repeats 21
Floodfill with Gradient
Selections Modify Contract 6
Hit Delete
Selections Invert
Effects Texture Effects Fine Leather
Settings:
Color Black Angle 239 Blur 6 Trans. 90 Numb. of Furrows 65 Length of furrows 8
Effects 3D Inner Bevel Settings see image
Selections Select None
Add your proper Artist CR and License info and Name
Layers Merge Merge All
