Sweetheart Tutorial
Tube: Verymany's awesome new tube Aurora
Which you can purchase at Very Many Tubes
Kit: Sweetheart by Scraps By Danielle
Template: Millies PSP Madness Template 174mpm
Plug-in: Xero Porcelain (optional)
This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP. I used PSPX2
Please be creative and choose whatever you want to make it your own.
Any resemblance to this tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional
Note: Abbreviations used in all my tutorials
Elements = El Copy/Paste = C/P Duplicate = Dup Paper = P Template = Temp
Open up 174mpm Template - Shift D to Duplicate - Close Original
Delete TOU layer
Temp 01 and Temp 02 - Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat
C/P P13 - Resize 65% - Selections - Invert - Delete
Selections - Select None
Temp 03 and Temp 04 - Merge Down - Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat
C/P P 02 Into Selection
Selections - Select None
Temp 05 and Temp 06 - Merge Down - Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat
C/P P 04 - Resize 80% - Selections - Invert -Delete
Selections - Select None
Temp 07 - Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat
C/P P3 - Selections - Invert - Delete
Selections - Select None
Temp 08 - Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat
New Raster Layer
C/P P12- Selections - Invert - Delete
Effects - 3D - Inner Bevel
Settings: Bevel 2 - Width 10 - Smoothness 30 - Depth 5 - Amb. 0 - Shine 0
Angle 315 - Intensity 50 - Elevation 30 - Color White
Selections - Select None
Temp 09 - Repeat the steps for Temp 08 - Mirror
Temp 10 and Temp 11 - Merge Down
Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat
New Raster Layer
Flood Fill with color of choice I used #fe96e5
Repeat Inner Bevel same settings used above
Word art
Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat
New Raster Layer
Flood Fill with Gradient I used colors Foreground #fe96e5 Background #c30000
Settings: Style Linear - Angel 45 - Repeats 4
Effects - 3D - Inner Bevel
Settings: Bevel 2 - Width 5 - Smoothness 3 - Depth 2 - Amb. 0 - Shine 12
Angle 315 - Intensity 50 - Elevation 30 - Color White
Selections - Select None
C/P Tube - Resize if needed
Select Freehand Selection tool
Settings: Mode Add - Feather 4 - Smoothing 8 - Anti-alias Checked
Draw a thin oval around the bottom of legs - Hit Delete a few times
Select None
Plug-In - Xero Porcelain - Default settings Except change Blue to 0
Elements - Please reference my example for placement
C/P Cupcake with Bow - Resize 40%
C/P Heart Box with Bow - Resize 35%
C/P Heart Lollipop - Resize 50% - Image - Free Rotate Right 15 - Sharpen
C/P Chocolate Heart - Resize 20% - Free Rotate Left 20 - Dup - Resize 85%
Effects - 3D - Drop Shadow add a drop shadow to everything
Settings I used: 2/2/50/5 Black repeat it on the tube
Layers - Merge Visible
Resize 90% All layers Un-checked
Select paper of choice for your mask, I used paper 10
Selections - Select All Edit - Paste into selection
Please select a mask of choice
Layers - Load Mask - Load from Disk - select your mask - OK
or Open a mask and Minimize it to your work space
Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image then find your mask - OK
Layers - Merge - Merge Group
Selections - Select None
Layers - Merge - Merge Visible
Crop - Resize if needed - Sharpen if needed
Now add your Artist Copyright and your License info. and Name
