Candy Land Tutorial
Tube: PinUp Toons 167-2 at CDO
Kit: Candie Land an Exclusive by Amy Marie's Kits
This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP. I used PSPX2
Please be creative and choose whatever you want to make it your own.
Any resemblance to this tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional
Note: Abbreviations used in all my tutorials
Elements = El Copy/Paste = C/P Duplicate = Dup Paper = P Template = Temp
Elements - Please reference my example for placement
New Image 700 X 700
C/P El 95 Resize 60%
Select Magic Wand inside frame
Selections - Modify - Expand 7
C/P half tube under frame
C/P P 10 under frame under tube
Select the tube layer
Selection - Invert - Delete
Select the paper layer Delete
Add a Drop Shadow to Frame
Settings 2/2/40/2/Black then Repeat with -2/-2
Layers Merge Visible
C/P El 47 Resize 110%
Dup move to middle Dup Flip move down
C/P El 44
C/P El 43
C/P El 41
C/P El 56 Resize 80%
C/P El 87 Resize 80 % Free rotate Right 40
C/P El 86
C/P El 84 Resize
C/P El 91 Resize 50%
C/P El 45 Resize 40%
C/P El 49 Resize 40%
C/P El 82 Resize 60%
C/P El 38 Resize 40%
C/P El 37 Resize 40%
C/P El 51 Resize 30%
C/P Tube
For the name
C/P The colors you want of elements 49, 50 and 51
Resize each one 20%
Dup for the amount you need for the name
Select a font I used font KB Pink Lip Gloss Size 30 White
I'm sure any font will do
Type out name with each letter centered on each element
Convert to Raster layer
Add a drop shadow -2/-2/40/2/Black
I merged Down all of this just in case I had to move it
Add a drop shadow to all your elements and tube
Don't add a shadow to the bottom 3 elements 47
Settings 2/2/40/2 /Black
Layers - Merge - Merge Visible
Crop - Resize - Sharpen if preferred
Now add your Artist Copyright and your License info. and Name
