Autumn Tutorial
Tube: PinUpToons 35-3 at CDO
Kit: Falling by Amy Marie's Kits
This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP. I used PSPX2
Please be creative and choose whatever you want to make it your own.
Any resemblance to this tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional
Note: Abbreviations used in all my tutorials
Elements = El Copy/Paste = C/P Duplicate = Dup Paper = P Template = Temp
When Re-sizing All Layers should be Unchecked unless otherwise noted
Elements - Please reference my example for placement
New Image 700 X 700
C/P El 81
C/P El 67
C/P El 66
C/P El 88 Resize 70%
C/P El 104 Resize 80%
C/P El 85 Resize 60%
C/P El 79 Resize 50%
C/P El 87 Resize 50%
C/P El 47 Resize 30%
C/P El 110 Resize 20% Dup x 3
C/P El 34 Resize 10% Move behind birdhouse Dup Mirror
C/P El 98 Resize 40%
C/P El 23 Resize 30%
C/P El 53 Resize 30%
C/P El 76 Resize 40% Dup x 2
Effects 3d Drop Shadow Settings: 2/2/40/2/Black on all the Elements
C/P El 100 Resize 20% Free Rotate right 20
Sharpen - Adjust - Brightness and Contrast - Clarify 3
Effects 3d Drop Shadow Settings: 5/5/50/10/Black
C/P Tube Resize
Add Drop Shadow same settings as above Repeat
Select paper of choice for your mask
I used paper 01
New Raster layer - Move to Bottom - Selections - Select All
C/P P Into Selection
Select Mask of choice
Layers - Load Mask - Load from Disk - select your mask
or Open up mask and Minimize it to your work space
Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image then find your mask - OK
Layers - Merge - Merge Group
Selections - Select None
Layers - Merge - Merge Visible
Crop - Resize - Sharpen if preferred
I always use Adjust - Sharpen - UnSharp Mask to sharpen
Settings - Radius 4.00 Strength usually between 16 - 20 Clipping 5
I find this doesn't leave the sharp edge that just using Sharpen does
Now add your Artist Copyright and your License info. and Name
