In The Clouds Tutorial
Kit: Unleashed by Devilish Dezines
These can be purchased at Scraps And The City
Plug-in: Penta.com Color dot
This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP. I used PSPX2
Please be creative and choose whatever you want to make it your own.
Any resemblance to this tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional
Note: Abbreviations used in all my tutorials
Elements = El Copy/Paste = C/P Duplicate = Dup Paper = P Template = Temp
Elements - Please reference my example for placement
New Image 700 X 700
C/P Frame 02 Resize 60%
Select Magic Wand - Right click inside frame
Selections - Modify - Expand 7
Select or make a Gradient
I use colors Foreground #9e70ba Background #8b37a8
Settings: Style Radial Angel 315 Repeats 6
New raster layer Move down
Flood fill with Gradient
Adjust - Blur - Gaussian blur 5
Plug-in - Penta - Color dot Settings: 42/2/255/255/255 Repeat
Selections - Invert - Delete
C/P Tube Resize and position - Dup - Move one behind frame
If you're using the same tube I resized 50%
Move the other one above the frame and close out the eye
Make sure the bottom tube is selected
Selections - Invert - Delete
Selections - Select None
Select top tube and Open the eye
Select Eraser or Freehand Selection tool to clear excess tube around frame
Add a Drop Shadow to bottom tube I used settings: 4/4/45/2/Black
Add a Drop Shadow to Frame I used settings: 2/2/40/2/Black
C/P El 23 Send to Bottom
Resize All layers Unchecked /Lock Aspect Ratio Unchecked : Width 85% Height 120
Dup x 4 - Merge Down all of them Adjust - Blur - Gaussian blur 9
C/P El 34 Resize 20%
C/P El 49 Resize 50% Dup - Mirror - Flip
C/P El 04 Resize 25% Free Rotate Right 20 - Dup - Resize 80% - Dup - Resize 80%
Add a Drop Shadow to the Butterflies and Ribbon Settings: 2/2/40/2/Black
Layers - Merge - Merge Visible
Crop - Resize - Sharpen if preferred
Now add your Artist Copyright and your License info. and Name
