Diva Manon Tutorial



Tube:  Manon by Marc Duval which you can purchase at Scraps And The City
Kit:  Diva by Abstract Creations  All her kits can be found at CDO

This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP.  I used PSPX2
Please be creative and choose whatever you want to make it your own.
Any resemblance to this tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional

Note:  Abbreviations used in all my tutorials
Elements = El  Copy/Paste = C/P  Duplicate = Dup  Paper = P  Template = Temp

New Image  700 x 700

C/P El 25   Move left
Select Magic Wand and click inside frame
Holding down the Shift key to select inside all the empty spaces
C/P P08 - Selections - Select All - Selections Invert - Delete
Move to bottom
Adjust - Blur - Guassian blur 10
C/P El 83  Dup x 3 - Spread around - Merge Down just the El 83
Select your Eraser or Freehand selection tool to get rid of excess outside of frame
I prefer the Freehand Selection tool
Settings: Freehand - Mode Add - Feather 0 - Smoothing 10 - Anti-alias Checked

C/P Tube - Resize if needed (I resized this tube 65%)
Position where you want it
Duplicate tube then close out duplicate - with original selected hit delete
Selections - Select None - Move behind Frame
Open Dup Tube (top tube)
With Eraser or your Freehand Selection Tube get rid of excess tube on bottom
And other parts of the frame overlapping the tube
Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow settings:  2/2/30/8/Black
Apply the same shadow to the frame

Elements - Please reference my example for placement
C/P El 74  Resize 90%
C/P El 21  Resize 50%
C/P El 32 Resize 45% -  Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen More
C/P El 62  Resize 55%
C/P El 58  Resize 70%
C/P El 65  Resize 40%
C/P El 01  Resize 30%
C/P El 61  Resize 30% - Adjust - Sharpness - Sharpen More
C/P El 73  Resize 50% - Move to right
Arrange - Move to bottom - Dup x 4 - Spread around frame

Add a Drop Shadow to your Elements
I used these Settings:   Effects - 3D - Drop Shadow  2/2/40/2/ Black

Select paper of choice for your mask
I used paper 01
New Raster layer - Move to Bottom - Selections - Select All
C/P  paper Into Selection
Select Mask of choice
Layers - Load Mask - Load from Disk - select your mask
or Open a mask and Minimize it to your work space
Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image then find your mask - OK
Layers - Merge - Merge Group
Selections - Select None

Layers - Merge - Merge Visible
Crop - Resize - Sharpen if preferred

Now add your Artist Copyright and your License info. and Name
