Demon Queen tutorial



Tube:  I used a Commissioned/Exclusive by Myriadelle which you can not purchase
Please be creative and find a perfect tube

Kit:  Devilish Dezines "Pretty" kit  which you can purchase at Scraps And The City

This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP   I used PSPX2
Please be creative and choose whatever you want to make it your own
Any resemblance to this tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional

Note:  Abbreviations used in all my tutorials
Elements = El  Copy/Paste = C/P  Duplicate = Dup  Paper = P  Template = Temp

New Image 700 x 700

C/P Frame 4  Resize 65%
Select Magic Wand - Right click inside frame
Selections - Modify - Expand 10
C/P P 05
Selections - Invert - Delete
Arrange - Move paper down

C/P Tube  Resize and position - Dup - Move one behind frame
Move one above the frame and close out the eye
Make sure the bottom tube is selected and hit delete
Selections - Select None
Add a Drop Shadow to bottom tube  I used settings:  3/3/70/4/Black
Select top tube and Open the eye
Select Eraser or Freehand Selection tool to clear excess tube around frame

Plug-in- Xero Soft Mood
Settings:  Haziness  32/100  Channel tuning  25/39/20 Compensation  10/0/-3


Add a Drop Shadow to frame Repeat settings used previously

Elements - Please reference my example for placement

C/P El 50  Resize 85%

C/P El 42  Resize 50% - Dup - Mirror - Merge down - Dup - Flip

C/P El 15  Resize 40% - Mirror - Dup x 4

C/P El 28  Resize 20% - Image - Free rotate Left 30 - Dup - Mirror - Dup resize 75%

C/P El 30  Resize 25% - Dup x 4 - Mirror 2 of them - Flip the bottom left one

C/P El 35  Resize 30% - Mirror - Dup move behind flower
Select Eraser tool and on top bow erase on top of the flower to expose parts of it

Add a Drop Shadow to your Elements
I used these Settings:  2/2/60/4/Black

Select paper of choice for your mask
I used 2 Masks  A round one on the bottom with P 06
A square mask on top with P 02
New Raster layer - Move to Bottom - Selections - Select All
C/P  P  Into Selection
Select Mask of choice
Layers - Load Mask - Load from Disk - select your mask
or Open up mask and Minimize it to your work space
Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image then find your mask - OK
Layers - Merge - Merge Group
Selections - Select None

Layers - Merge - Merge Visible
Crop - Resize - Sharpen if preferred

Now add your Artist Copyright and your License info. and Name
