FTU Dreaming Of You tutorial
Tube: Summer by Kiwi Fire Storm at The PSP Project
Kit: FTU Soulmates by Jennys Designz
Template: 222mpm by Millie's PSP Madness
This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP. I used PSPX2
Please be creative and choose whatever you want to make it your own.
Any resemblance to this tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional
Note: Abbreviations used in all my tutorials
Elements = El Copy/Paste = C/P Duplicate = Dup Paper = P Template = Temp
Open template 222mpm - Shift D to duplicate - Close original
Delete T.O.U. (after you read them) and Temp 06
Temp 01 - Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat
Select P 04 - C/P Into Selection
Selections - Select None
Temp 02 - Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat
Select P 02 - C/P Into Selection
Selections - Select None
Temp 03 and 04 - Merge Down
Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat
Select P 01 - C/P Into Selection
Selections - Select None
Temp 05 - Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat
Select P 05 - C/P Into Selection
Selections - Select None
Temp 07 - Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat
New layer - Flood fill with color of choice or gradient
Selections - Select None
Move behind Temp 05
Temp 08 Same as Temp 07
Layer 12 W/A Of You - Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat
New layer - Flood fill with color of choice or gradient (I used the gradient from Temp 07)
Selections - Select None
Layer 11 W/A Dreaming - Do the same as 12 but use a different pattern or gradient
Add a Drop Shadow to both W/A -Effects - 3d - Drop Shadow 2/2/100/0
Elements - Please reference my example for placement
C/P Frame 3 Resize 75% - Dup - Resize 85% - Free Rotate right 20
C/P El Clock2 Resize 30%
C/P El Champagne Resize 35%
C/P El Rose Resize 20% - Free rotate Right 140
C/P El Cat Resize 20%
C/P El Candle Resize 90% - Dup
Now add a Drop Shadow to your elements, papers and your tube
I used these Settings: Effects - 3D - Drop Shadow 2/2/40/2 Black
Repeating the shadow on the tube
New layer - send to bottom - Selections - Select ll
Flood fill with color you used before as I did or
C/P P as New Layer
Layers - Load Mask - Load from Disk - select your mask
or Open a mask and Minimize it to your work space
Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image then find your mask - OK
Layers - Merge - Merge Group
Layers - Merge - Merge Visible
Crop - Resize - Sharpen if preferred
Now add your Artist Copyright and your License info. and Name
