FTU Green Betty Tutorial

This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP. I used PSPX2
Please be creative and choose whatever you want to make it your own.

Note: Abbreviations used in all my tutorials
Elements = El Copy/Paste = C/P Duplicate = Dup Paper = P Template = Temp
Open Millie's Template 200mpm
Shift D to duplicate - Close original
Delete Raster 1 - 10 and 9
Temp 01 - Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat
C/P P 08 - Paste As New Layer - Selections - Invert - Delete
Selections - Select None
Temp 02 - Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat
New Raster layer - Flood fill with Gradient
I used colors Foreground #4ba759 Background #007f1c
Settings: Style: Linear Angle: 90 Repeats: 12
Adjust - Add/Remove Noise - Add Noise - Gaussian 10
Selections - Select None
Temp 03 and Temp 04 - Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat
C/P 06 - Paste As New Layer - Resize 40% - Selections - Invert - Delete
Selections - Select None
Temp 05 - Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat
Adjust - Manual Color Correction
Change the color by:
Hold your mouse over the Source Color (original color) Right click on your mouse
Then do the same for the Target color (color you want to change it to) Left click
Selections - Select None
Temp 06 - Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat
C/P P 05 - Paste As New Layer - Selections - Invert - Delete
Selections - Select None
Merge Down 8 and 7
Effects - 3D - Inner Bevel
Settings: Bevel 2 - Width 4 - Smoothness 20 - Depth 2 - Ambience 0 - Shininess 10
Angel 315 - Intensity 50 - Elevation 30 - Color White
Effects - 3D - Drop Shadow - 2/2/75/3 Black
Elements - Please reference my example for placement
C/P Scattered Hearts Resize 15%
Add Drop Shadow 2/2/40/2 Black
C/P Ribbons Pin Resize 50%
Add Drop Shadow 2/2/40/2 Black
C/P Stiches Resize 80%
C/P Stardust - Dup - Mirror - Dup - Flip move down - Erase excess
C/P Butterfly Bow Resize 10% - Free Rotate Left 25
Add Drop Shadow 2/2/40/2 Black
Add Tube Resize 80% - Mirror
Add Drop Shadow 2/2/40/2/Black - repeat
Add word art Kiss Me I'm Irish - Inner Bevel same as what you used on the Shamrocks
Font I used was Affair - Size 48 - Sharp - Stroke 1
Shadow used 1/1/75/0 Black
Now add a Drop Shadow to your Elements
I used these Settings: Effects - 3D - Drop Shadow 2/2/40/4
Select paper of choice for your mask
I used paper 09
C/P P as New Layer
Move to Bottom
Layers - Load Mask - Load from Disk - select your mask
or Open a mask and Minimize it to your work space
Layers - New Mask Layer - From Image then find your mask - OK
Layers - Merge - Merge Group
Layers - Merge - Merge Visible
Crop - Resize - Sharpen if preferred
Now add your Artist Copyright and your License info. and Name
