Stepping Out Tutorial


Stepping Out

Supplies used:

Kit:  Unchained Melody by P&A Dezigns  I love this kit!  The colors are beautiful.  
You can find her kits   HERE
Tube:  Is by the Fabulous Barbara Jensen!  One of her new ones.  Don't you love it!
Template:  Template04 was made my me :) you can find it here on my blog or go 
Plug-ins:  Video Rave-wonderland
Mask:  DBV 89  you can find that HERE  at Designs by Vaybs
Font:   I used Janagrace Swash  

This tutorial assumes you have a working knowledge of PSP.  I used PSPX2.  Please be creative and choose whatever you want to make it your own.  Any resemblance to this tutorial is purely coincidental and unintentional.

Open your Template04 - Shift D to duplicate - Close original
Select 01 - Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat
Copy/Paste Paper 09 - Resize 20 %  - Invert - Delete - Select none
Select 02 - Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat
Copy/Paste Paper 02 - Resize 20% - Invert - Delete - Select none
Select 03 - Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat
Copy/Paste Paper 12 - Resize 20% - Invert - Delete - Select none
Select 04 - Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat
Copy/Paste Paper 07 - Resize 20% - Invert - Delete - Select none
Select 05 - Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat
Copy/Paste Paper 03 - Resize 20% - Invert - Delete - Select none
Select 06 - Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat - New Raster Layer
Flood Fill with a Gradient  I used:
Colors Foreground  cc87e9  Background  b44ae6   linear  130/4
Selections - Select none  Adjust - Add Noise  -  Random 7
Select 07 - Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat - New Raster Layer
New Raster layer - Flood Fill with a Gradient   I used colors:
Foreground db9fc5   Background 644aeb   Linear  90/7
Plug-in Video Rave - Wonderland  I used these settings:
255-131-164-75-39
Repeat  what you just did on Temp.07 on Temp. 08

Now the Elements.
Please look back at my example for placement.
El 19 Yellow frame  Resize 25%
El 01  Small hearts  Resize 18% - Free rotate Right 90
Place over Temp 04 paper - Erase overlap
Select 09 temp. - Selections - Select all - Float - Defloat
El 38 White Frame Resize 22%   place frame see my example
Invert - Delete - Select none
El 29 Lamp  Resize 39% x 2
El 55 Butterfly  Resize  20%  Rotate left 20 deg.
El 51 Bird Resize 20% x 2   Duplicate - Resize 90% - Mirror
El 29 Yellow Flower  Resize 28% x 2 
El 47  Purple Daisys Resize 16% x 2 - Duplicate  x 6
El 15 Ribbon  Resize 20% x 2
El 12 Petals  Resize 20% - Duplicate - Flip - Duplicate - Mirror

Sharpen if needed
 Add Shadows  I used:
Effects - 3D- Shadow Black  2/2/40/4

Add your tube  Resize
This is what I did, your option
Duplicate tube
On Duplicate - Adjust - Add/Remove Noise
Add Noise - Random 28
Effects - 3D - ShadowBlack - 4/4/40/20
On top tube 
Add Shadow  Black 2/2/40/2
Layers - Merge Visible
Resize - All Layers Unchecked 95%

Now your Mask
I used  Paper 08  Mask DBV89

Copyright and Name
